The use of Target Market Research


During the development of a game or product, it is important to determine who is among your target audience. To do this achievably it is best to use both demographics (these include a person's age, sex, race, income and location) and psychographics (the study of what people's interests are, what activities do they do and attitudes/opinions they may have) to create a buyer persona which is a somewhat fictional representation of my ideal customer that will help guide my focus and determine how to spend my time on what factors during development of my game. (A Complete Guide To Target Audience Analysis For Content Marketers, 2021)

The three attached images are the buyer personas that I have created for this, each with different attitudes and abilities in regards to gaming as well as other factors that might impact who I focus my game towards.
